ITI Trade Apprentice के लिए:
- उम्मीदवार ने 10वीं कक्षा पास की हो
- संबंधित notified trade में ITI National Trade Certificate यानी NTC प्राप्त किया हो
- ITI trade उसी trade से संबंधित होना चाहिए जिसके लिए आवेदन किया जा रहा है
Technician Vocational Apprentice के लिए:
- संबंधित discipline में Vocational Higher Secondary Education यानी VHSE पास होना चाहिए
- Qualification notified vocational discipline से संबंधित होनी चाहिए
Equivalent qualification रखने वाले उम्मीदवार को competent authority द्वारा जारी Equivalency Certificate upload करना होगा।

यह permanent government job नहीं है। यह केवल एक वर्ष की apprenticeship training है। Training पूरी होने के बाद Cochin Shipyard रोजगार देने के लिए बाध्य नहीं होगा और apprentice नौकरी का दावा नहीं कर सकता।
नहीं, इस भर्ती में Written Exam या Computer Based Test नहीं होगा।
उम्मीदवारों को संबंधित ITI या VHSE qualification में प्राप्त अंकों के प्रतिशत के आधार पर shortlist किया जाएगा।
यदि दो या अधिक उम्मीदवारों के marks का percentage समान होता है, तो अधिक आयु वाले उम्मीदवार को merit में प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।

जिस उम्मीदवार ने Apprentices Act 1961 के अंतर्गत किसी अन्य organisation में किसी भी अवधि के लिए पहले apprenticeship training की है, वह आवेदन करने के लिए eligible नहीं है।
Previous apprenticeship की जानकारी छिपाने पर candidature या training cancel की जा सकती है।
